Pastor Nathan “Buck” LeGreco
Nathan “Buck” LeGreco serves as the Pastor of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Pastor Buck believes that building strong relationships both inside and outside of the church is an important part of ministry and always looks forward to spending time with and getting to know the members of St. Mark.
Pastor Buck grew up in Galena, Illinois. He began studying Culinary Arts while in High School. He holds a two-year certificate and an Associate’s Degree from Kendall College in Culinary Arts and Management. After a career as a Professional Chef in a variety of restaurants and places, LeGreco decided to end his career in restaurants and follow one in the ministry of the church.
LeGreco spent one year traveling as a missionary with the organization called Youth Encounter. He traveled the East Coast doing contemporary music programs and relational ministry with churches, schools and youth programs. After this, LeGreco moved to St. Paul, MN to attend Concordia University and remained active with Youth Encounter as a volunteer trainer. While in St. Paul, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies in May 2011.
Pastor Buck then moved to St. Louis, MO to begin studies at Concordia Seminary, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree in May 2015. He was Ordained and Installed as Pastor of St. Mark in July 2015.

Church Secretary: Alyssa Eisinger
Alyssa Eisinger was raised in Elko, NV and graduated from Elko High School in 2000. She and her husband Jake have three children Matthew, Zoe, and Livee. As a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church Alyssa works as our Secretary within the Church and our congregation helping to improve and strengthen our church behind the scenes.
Alyssa is happy to assist everyone in our congregation and within our community with any information that can help them connect with the ministries at St. Mark.

Preschool Director: Bertha Pfeifer
Pfeifer, a native of North Dakota, received her degree in education at Minot State University graduating in 1991.
That same year Pfeifer was employed by the Elko County School District where she taught kindergarten for 18 years and second grade for seven years at Spring Creek Elementary School. She retired from teaching at the end of the 2015-2016 school year.
Pfeifer has a son in Elko and a daughter in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She also has six grandchildren.
A member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Pfeifer is excited to share her passion of working with young children and promoting early childhood education as Preschool Director.
